|David Ross brings over 20 years of experience in consulting, project management and computer programming to Contaxt Solutions Incorporated.
||He began his career in the banking sector where he developed fraud detection systems. In 1992 he joined SAS Institute and held various management positions including leading their financial management solution consulting practice and client sales support. His consulting work at SAS provided exposure to a variety of industries including healthcare, insurance, media, government, manufacturing and life sciences and their associated business models and requirements for financial information and reporting. Most recently Dave worked six years at the Thomson Corporation, an $8 billion dollar global information business, where he was the chief architect and senior director of their corporate financial systems including their SAS FM consolidation and reporting solution.
|Jeff Davis has 15 years of experience in the accounting and reporting arena with expertise in tax accounting, consolidations, cash flow, Sarbanes Oxley requirements and overall process improvement.
||Jeff’s foundation began in public accounting in the audit and business advisory practice working with multi-national clients in various industry sectors including construction, manufacturing and telecommunications. In 1997, he joined The Thomson Corporation, a Canadian multi-national company where he owned and managed all aspects of their consolidation and reporting processes. Jeff drove the implementation of SAS Institute’s consolidation solution as well as processes around tax provision accounting, SOX compliance and analytics that are in place today. Jeff now brings this vast knowledge and experience to other clients through his consulting firm, Contaxt Solutions Inc.
